Sound
There are two categories of sound in film diegetic and non-diegetic
Diegetic: is sound the characters can hear
Non-diegetic: is sound the characters cannot hear but the audience can (it adds atmosphere/makes you feel emotions)
Examples
Diegetic: dialogue, ambient sound + sound effects
Non-diegetic: Music, voice over + sound effects
